Batuhan is completing a PhD in History at Georgetown University. He holds a master and bachelor degree from Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, Turkey. He participated in the Erasmus program for history at the University of Manchester in 2021. Batuhan’s primary interest is in 18th-century Ottoman history and early modern cultural and intellectual history. In his spare time, he enjoys reading literature and philosophy.
